Frieda Alessi, P.T., D.P.T. Dr. Alessi has been a physical therpist for 15 years. She obtained her entry-level physical therapy training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University. She has practiced in a variety of settings including acute care, skilled nursing, home health, acute rehabilitation and outpatient. Prior to opening her office in Pleasanton in 2007, she was Director of Rehabilitation and Clinics at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, CA. Prior to her physical therapy career, she earned a Masters Degree in organic chemistry, and worked as a research chemist in the pharmaceutical industry for several years. Physical Therapy is a wonderful profession!
